Everton Sign Arouna Kone from Wigan

Everton have completed the signing of Arouna Kone from Wigan for an undisclosed fee and he has signed a three-year deal at Goodison.

Roberto Martinez had been anxious to strengthen his forward line, an area where Everton were lacking last season, and the arrival of Kone from the manager's former club is a major boost.

Newcastle had tried to hijack the deal over the weekend when their offer met Wigan's release fee, but Kone was always more likely to team up again with Martinez.

The Ivory Coast international passed his medical and agreed personal terms with the Blues, before signing on the dotted line on a three-year deal.

Martinez will be reunited with the 29-year-old Kone, who he signed for £2m from Levante whilst in charge at Wigan, So, make sure you head over to Premiership Betting Odds today and get the best odds guaranteed for the upcoming league games.
